Steady-State models of STATCOM and UPFC using flexible holomorphic embedding

چکیده

To investigate the effect and ability of FACTS devices using Fast Flexible Holomorphic Embedding technique (FFHE), it is necessary to develop an embedded system for these devices. Therefore, this paper presents FFHE based STATCOM UPFC. The also proposed their controlling modes. introduced UPFC flexible which allows take any state as initial guess instead fixed state, leads towards reduced runtime decrease required number terms, compared standard Embedded Load-Flow Method (HELM). demonstrate effectiveness practicability, models have been tested several cases. Further, developed recursive formulas power balance equations, devices’ physical constraints modes are thoroughly investigated examined. From tests, found that requires less execution time reduce error at higher rate.
